  1. I usually get around that by using html code and unchecking use tiny mce.
  2. New spammer - http://www.adastrafanfic.com/viewuser.php?uid=331 I sent a note to Admin ("contact us").
  3. Ah, gotcha. Then I'll just have to supply my own.
  4. Question (and maybe it's just me), but I don't have a like option on all posts. I understand not having a like option on my own posts. But, for example, MF's post just above this one does not have a like button for me. How come?
  5. Would there be categories like best villain, best original species, best original character, that sort of thing?
  6. I would like to see it revived, too. I think there's a lot out there that isn't being seen, or is kinda lost in the shuffle because it's gotten older and other things have gotten in line ahead of it.
  7. A suggestion -- since you're going in and looking up the winning entries anyway -- why not add a link to them as well, and get, perhaps, more readership for the best stories? I don't want to add a lot of work, of course.
  8. Ooh look - there's an Awards section.
  9. I like the green accents sprinkled within; it makes for a good contrast to the orange and yellow.
  10. Oooh, there's a like button (to the right of every post, just above the sig line). Funkay!
  11. I voted for an auction style as I think it could be funky and exciting.
  12. Ah, whew, thanks. I will also be happy to blog for the site in general, or write up SM-type stuff for the Ad Astra FB page if you like (something to supplement the feed) as a contribution.
  13. Eek, well that sucks. I wish I had actual money these days, but I have been past the last date of Unemployment for months now. However I will be anyone's writer/blogger/reviewer/facebook page creator/liker/updater, etc. Question - will we lose the separate archive setup, with published stuff plus reviews plus cover space and chapter or work comments? Because I adore this setup, and would hate to see it lost. Thank you again for all you do.
  14. I tried it (you have to also load Calibre) even though I don't have a reader. I just wanted to see if I could make the files, what they would look like and how big they are, as I'm considering storing at least a few of them on my own site. It's not difficult, once you get the hang of it.
  15. W00t just the same. Thank you, Mike.
  16. Question - I have blog posts scheduled to go out in March. Should I reschedule them? It's no trouble; I want to make this as easy for you as possible. Thanks!
  17. Whatever happened to this?
  18. Awesome, thank you. Always good to have options.
  19. It doesn't have to be all about oneself (and I try not to make it that way). I've been blogging for a good 4 years now, and I originally had felt it was kinda inane, but you can grow an audience and it is of interest to them. Different blogs serve differing purposes. I'm using Barking to talk about what I've been doing with regards to writing, and also how things all fit in, in order to try to give some context to what I do so that I don't just write up a huge topic here about that. I use a blog on SparkPeople to talk about weight loss and maintenance. I have a robot blog where I mainly give the robotic news, either about a startup I'm affiliated with, or about the industry in general. And I also have my own blog which is about career changing, that I should probably update as I'm looking for work again. In that one I talk about my own struggles, but also about the social media industry, plus any books I read about it, any wisdom I've gleaned in the (egad) decade I've been a Community Manager, etc.
